Perkins 4.99 Raw Water Pump (3270-200)
Genuine Jabsco bronze sea water pump as fitted to all Perkins 'UK factory marinized' versions of the Perkins 4.99 engine. The pump is engine driven from the front timing gear cover and is a high quality original equipment part with 3/4" threaded inlet/outlet ports.
To finish the job off properly, we include a quality mounting gasket, tube of sealant and fitting instructions.
Also now included in this kit is a water pump alignment tool - this is used to very accurately centralise the pump adaptor plate on the timing cover to ensure reduced wear on the pump drive shaft components and prevent premature fatigue crack failure. The alignment tool is bespoke manufactured by ourselves in brass (see above photo) and to the dimensions given in the Perkins workshop manual and is essential in re-aligning the timing cover adapter plate, if it has been disturbed during the pump replacement process.

Please note that the pump is not a direct replacement for the 'Sherwood' type pump fitted by some USA manufactured versions (e.g. Westerbeke).
