Perkins 4.248 Stop Solenoid
Quality aftermarket replacement 12 Volt, 16 ohm stop solenoid that fits the later versions of Perkins 4.248 fitted with electrically operated stop solenoid that screws directly into the fuel injection pump. This is a quality part made by 'Flag' in Germany.
There are two types of connection available:
- 'Single screw connection' version that has a single positive (+) electrical connection and takes its negative (-) supply from the engine block.
- 'Twin spade connection (Lucar connector)' version that is often found on marine versions where the engine block is isolated from the electrical system. This solenoid has spade connections for both positive (+) and negative (-) supply.
Please note these stops are Energise to run.
